Throughout the concert there were humorous touches that elicited chuckles and giggles - clearly this was a family friendly event that aimed to make this music accessible for all ages.

Waltz into the golden era of Viennese music with Salute to Vienna, a celebrated classical concert tour that began with Attila and Marion Glatz's iconic 2013 Wiener Konzerthaus performance. Inspired by the Viennese tradition of the Neujahrzkonzert, the sonic New Year's Eve celebration welcomes in the new year in the most spectacular fashion, bringing together talented singers, orchestra members, and ballroom and ballet dancers.
Performing classic works like the Blue Danube Waltz, as well as aria selections from famous operettas by Johan Strauss and his contemporaries, the ensemble is led by either English conductor Alastair Willis or Hungarian maestro Imre Kollar (there are simultaneous concerts across North America and Canada). Packed to the rafters with thrilling music, effervescent energy, much merriment and nostalgic romance.
